This award celebrates the person, group, or organization that best exemplifies Patti and Phila’s spirit for using their food/cooking skills to improve, assist, and/or support their community. 

For over 40 years, long time local restauranteur Patti Myint, introduced new flavors from Southeast Asia to Nashville’s community. When anyone would ask her “why does this taste so good?” she would respond with “because I made it with love.” Patti was adored by many, and it was equally reciprocated. She considered everyone family.
